Pt. Jaya Tirtha Charan dasan

Purohit Jaya Tirtha Charan dasan (dasadasanudas) is a Minister of Religion for the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, recognized by the Justice Dept. of New Zealand to perform marriage ceremonies, etc. JTCd has been trained to perform Vaishnava - Vaidik ceremonials according to Sat Kriya Sara Dipika, Pancharatriki viddhi and Agama Tantras of ritual symbology. He has studied under the guidance of the late Jayatirtha dasa, the late Rangaraj Bhattar, HH Bhakti Vidya Purna Swami, HG Gaura Keshava dasa, HG Sri RAma-RAmanujacharya dasan, HG Atmatattwa dasa, HG Chiteshwar dasa. As a complimentary study he also studied Social and Community Work Theory, Social and Community Work Ethics, Social and Community Work Practice (for which he gained Recognition of Prior Learning credits as a Hare Krishna Priest), Systems of Healing, Sociology, Social Anthropology, Social Economics, Social Policy, and Counseling through Massey University, New Zealand.

    JTCd - Instructor of Pancharatriki viddhi and the Agama Tantras, religious-cultural anthropologist, New Zealand representative for the Australasian Council for Hindu Clergy and Laity Inc. As an Associate Professor he organizes and facilitates of the Faculty of Pancaratriki - agama in the Bhaktivedanta Vedik College, School of Vedic Arts and Sciences (year 2000) which is affiliated with the University of North Carolina, USA.

    JTCd was formally initiated into the Brahma-Madhwa-Gaudiya sampradaya in April 1978., (in London) after being a congregational member since 1973-74., and having made a thorough study of its purpose, method, and effect - being conversant is its developmental history, members pastimes and function of the sampradaya.

In 1990 JTCd re-established his alliance/affiliation to Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupad through being initiated by one of his foremost disciples, HH Jayapataka Swami.

Some of his main services include; performing and advising regarding samskaras, marriage synastry, putting on and
overseeing festivals and functions celebrating Krishna consciousness.
